Editing OMS integration settings

  1. On the Electric page, click the OMS Integration tab.

  2. Select the Send outage/restoration messages via Itron MultiSpeak Adaptor checkbox to enable sending Power Outage Notifications (PON) and Power Restoration Notifications (PRN) to an Outage Management System (OMS) through IMSA.

    1. Under Multispeak outage delay (minutes), in the box, type a numeric value, in minutes, for the amount of time after creating a PON/PRN which Itron Analytics waits to send it to MultiSpeak. The default value is 30 minutes. Valid values are 1-120.

    2. Select the Include inferred power notifications checkbox to enable also sending inferred PON/PRN through MultiSpeak. An inferred PON/PRN is created by Itron Analytics logic when the amount or hierarchy of affected devices indicates related devices are also affected. For more information, see Itron Analytics outage detection.

    3. Under Maximum number of service points in Multispeak message, in the text box, type a numeric value of the number of service points to include in a single MultiSpeak message. If the number of service points in the interruption exceeds this value, additional MultiSpeak messages will be sent. The default value is 10,000 service points. Valid values are 1-99999.

    4. In Number of attempts to send message, type the number of times sending messages will be attempted. The default value is 1. Valid values are 1-99.

    5. In Wait period between retry attempts (minutes), type the number of minutes that will pass before sending messages is attempted again. The default value is 5. Valid values are 1-99.

  3. Click Update.
