ESRI Mapping

The ESRI Mapping page is located under the Application Settings menu. Use this page to configure the connection between Itron Analytics and ArcGIS. This page is also used to set default map layers and the default map zoom.

This page is only available if your Itron Analytics deployment has an ESRI ArcGIS external system and either the electric commodity, the gas theft detection application, or the water theft detection.

To edit the ESRI mapping settings:

  1. On the ESRI Mapping page, in ArcGIS Itron Map Services (URL), type the URL of the ArcGIS Web Adaptor's map services folder.

    For example, https://<web application server>/<Web Adaptor path>/rest/services/<folder name>.

...where <web application server> is the name of your web application server, <Web Adaptor path> is the installation path for ArcGIS Web Adaptor, and <folder name> is the name of the folder your mapping services are published to.

  2. (Optional) If the utility has their own GIS database with layers they want to appear in Itron Analytics, then in ArcGIS Customer Map Services (URL), type the URL of the utility's ArcGIS service.

  3. (Optional) If the utility has their own GIS database and only want selected layers to appear in Itron Analytics, then in Utility GIS Default Visible Layers, type the numbers of the utility layers to be enabled by default (separated by commas).

  4. In Base Map Default Visible Layers, type the numbers of the Itron layers to be enabled by default (separated by commas).
