File Import Configuration

The File Import Configuration page is located under the Platform Administration menu. Use this page to configure the import of data into Itron Analytics. Each record identifies a location that the system polls to look for a specified file type. Certain settings on this page can be enabled to perform transformation and validation processes against each incoming file. The Enabled column on this page reflects the status of the File Settings tab's Enabled checkbox when creating or editing a file import configuration.

Itron Analytics requires a key file for SFTP connections. For more information, see Itron Analytics key files for SFTP.

Caution: Import CRF (Common Reading Format) files into Itron Analytics in order of creation, one at a time. Failure to do so may affect data.

Caution: Changes to these values can impact or disable imports. Before making any changes to the File Import Configuration values, contact Itron Technical Support Services at support@itron.com or 1-877-487-6602.
