Device Event Code Maps

The Device Event Code Maps page is located under the Platform Administration menu. Use this page to edit the event code mapping between applications. Event codes from external sources (such as a collection system) are translated into internal Itron Analytics event codes for display throughout Itron Analytics. For example, a Cut Cable event code for FCS (External Device Event Code) is "28T" and that code maps to the Itron Analytics event code (Device Event Code) "FR." Event codes for systems not included in your Itron Analytics deployment's licensing will not appear. Only enabled mappings will be processed by data import procedures.

Note: Itron Analytics is delivered pre-configured to support device mappings between Itron source systems and the Itron Analytics software. You will not be required to edit these mappings unless you are receiving data from non-Itron sources, if there are new device event codes that are added by Itron between Itron Analytics releases, or you want to disable mappings that do not apply to your deployment.
