Model Vars Tab

Model Vars are the variables passed from the SAE Set module to the Long-Term Models module. Data reviewed on the Intensities are shown for the individual end uses. On the Model Vars tab, these intensity results are combined across end uses in the XHeat, XCool, and XOther categories. The Model Vars tab allows the user to see these combined indexes. This is strictly a review screen and it is not possible to modify results from this tab. The toolbar includes dropdown controls to select the following:

• SAE Set to View. The list of SAE Sets in the Library or selected folder.
• Scenario to View. The list of scenarios configured for the selected SAE Set.
• Sector to View. The list of sectors configured in the system.

The Model Vars Tab includes a graph on the top and a data grid on the bottom. Controls on the toolbar allow the user to Show or Hide the graph and to Show or Hide the data grid. Also, the user can modify the Date Range, select the Zoom level, and can toggle between viewing annual data and monthly data.

The graph and grid show indexed data values (normalized to 1.0 in the end-use and technology base years). If an end-use sector is selected (Res, Com, Ind), data for XHeat, XCool, and XOther will be displayed. If a technology sector is selected, the aggregated index for that sector will be displayed. There is also an option for Total, which shows the XHeat, XCool, and XOther indexes combined across sectors.
