Alert Types
Alert Types are categorized into the following categories for navigation purposes.
- Meter
- Weather Station
- Weather Zone
- XDriver
- Schedule
Each Alert Type includes specific configuration options. The Alert Types and their configuration options are as follows.
Meter
- Meter Out of Date. This will alert you to meters that do not have data within the tolerance level specified. The configure dialog for this alert type allows you to set the tolerance level with a combination of days, hours, and minutes. Options are available to ignore data marked as Bad, Filled, Incomplete, Load Control, or Load Event from the alert check.
- Meter Late Out. This will alert you to meters that are receiving data outside of the contract period.
- Meter Variance. This will alert you when the difference between two meters is outside a specified threshold. The configure dialog for this alert type allows you to select the base meter, the secondary meter, the max difference, and the days offset (e.g. 0 for today, -1 for yesterday, etc.)
- Meter Check Status. This will alert you to meters that have data marked with the specified status within the time period specified. The configure dialog for this alert type allows you to set the time period and load statuses to check.
Weather Station
- Weather Station Variance. This will alert you when there are differences among Weather Stations outside the specified threshold. The configure dialog for this alert type allows you to select the Weather Forecast, Weather Concept, and Max Difference (e.g. 5 for 5 degrees C).
- Weather Station Out of Date. This will alert you to Weather Stations that do not have data within the tolerance level specified. The configuration dialog for this alert type allows you to set the time span with a combination of days, hours, and minutes and to identify the weather concept (e.g. temperature) to which the alert applies. Filtering criteria allow you to limit the list of stations to which the alert applies. Radio buttons provide functionality to apply the alert based upon the Last Reading Date or the Last Updated Date.
- Weather Station Level. This will alert you to Weather Stations that have a maximum or minimum value that is outside of the tolerance level specified. The configuration dialog for this alert type allows you to set the historical time span with a combination of days, hours, and minutes, to identify the weather concept (e.g. temperature) to which the alert applies, and chose to include/exclude forecast data and how many days out to check.
- Weather Station Peak Forecast Delta. This will alert you if the current Weather Station Forecast Peak value has changed relative to a baseline forecast. The configuration dialog for this alert type allows you to set the time span in hours, the max delta (e.g. 5 for 5 degrees C), the Archive Rule used for comparison, the Weather Forecast, and the Weather Concept (e.g. temperature).
Weather Zone
- Weather Zone Out of Date. This will alert you to Weather Zones that do not have data within the tolerance level specified. The configuration dialog for this alert type allows you to set the time span with a combination of days, hours, and minutes and to identify the weather concept (e.g. temperature) to which the alert applies.
- Weather Zone Level. This will alert you to Weather Zones that have a maximum or minimum value that is outside of the tolerance level specified. The configuration dialog for this alert type allows you to set the historical time span with a combination of days, hours, and minutes, to identify the weather concept (e.g. temperature) to which the alert applies, and chose to include/exclude forecast data and how many days out to check.
- Weather Zone Peak Forecast Delta. This will alert you if the current Weather Zone Forecast Peak value has changed relative to a baseline forecast. The configuration dialog for this alert type allows you to set the time span in hours, the max delta (e.g. 5 for 5 degrees C), the Archive Rule used for comparison, the Weather Forecast, and the Weather Concept (e.g. temperature).
XDriver
- XDriver Out of Date. This will alert you to XDrivers that do not have data within the tolerance level specified. The configure dialog for this alert type allows you to set the tolerance level with a combination of days, hours, and minutes. Radio buttons provide functionality to apply the alert based upon the Last Reading Date or the Last Updated Date.
Schedule
- Schedule Forecast Level. This will alert you to Schedules that have a maximum or minimum value that is outside of the tolerance level specified. The configuration dialog for this alert type allows you to set the minimum forecast level and maximum forecast level. An option is available to check the forecast delta (Ht+1-Ht) above the maximum value. The forecast horizon during which the alert applies is defined by the Horizon Start and Horizon End parameters. Excluding values for the Horizon Start and Horizon End will force the alert to execute over the entire range of the Schedule Forecast.
- Schedule Forecast Error. This will alert you to Schedules that have one or more forecast errors that exceed the specified tolerance. The configuration dialog for this alert type allows you to ignore incomplete data, set the time span with a combination of days, hours, and minutes, to specify the tolerance, and to specify the tolerance units (Absolute or Percent).
- Schedule Forecast Diff. This will alert you if the difference between the current Schedule forecast and an archived forecast exceeds the specified tolerance. The configuration dialog for this alert type allows you to set the time span with a combination of days, hours, and minutes, specify the tolerance, the tolerance units (Absolute or Percent), and specify the Archive Rule assignment.
- Schedule Peak Forecast Delta. This will alert you if the current forecast has changed relative to the previously published forecast. The configuration dialog for this alert type allows you to set the time span in hours and the max delta.
