Additional Criteria Page

The Additional Criteria Page allows for additional configuration depending on the type of data in the import file. This section describes the additional field when the import file is either interval data or list data.

Interval Data Imports

When importing interval data, the Additional Criteria Page is used to specify the properties of the data to be imported. These properties include the following:

  • File Dates are in Standard Time. This indicates whether dates in the import file are in Standard Time.
  • Shift to Local Time. This option allows the user to shift the data to local time on import. This option is enabled when File Dates are in Standard Time is selected.
  • File Includes an Interval Column. This specifies the layout of the import file.
  • Intervals per Day. When the File Includes an Interval Column option is marked, this specifies the number of intervals per day.
  • Time Zone. This specifies the time zone of the import data. This is enabled when Shift to Local Time is selected.
  • Import ID Prefix. The prefix to apply to the ImportID field in the import file.
  • Import ID Suffix. The suffix to apply to the ImportID field in the import file.
  • Shift the Data # of Intervals. Allows the user to shift the first interval of the imported data a negative or positive number of intervals.
  • Ignore Interval Status. This option allows the user to ignore the interval status rules under which the data are being imported. It is activated only for those data imports where interval status flags are allowed. Setting this option to True (i.e., checking the box) will import data with the interval status flags. Setting this option to False will import data without the interval status flags. The default is set to True.
  • Refresh any affected Meter Groups. This option forces an automatic recalculation of the total, maximum, minimum, average, ADU, Loadfactor, Wkendratio, Dayfrac, Days of Data, and Data % Comp properties of Meter Groups when importing meter data.
  • Unknown Import ID Options. This setting determines the behavior of the system when an import file contains Import IDs that are not found in the system.
  • Ignore. The data for the missing IDs will be ignored. There will be no message in the Event Log.
  • Log Error. An error message will be written to the Event Log for each set of IDs that are not found.
  • Log Warning. A warning message will be written to the Event Log for each set of IDs that are not found.

List Imports

When importing lists, the Additional Criteria Page is used to specify the options when a record in the import file is already present. The duplicate record options are below:

  • Ignore. The record in the import file will be skipped and the database won’t be updated.
  • Overwrite. The records in the import file will be used to update the database.
  • Log Error. An error message will be written to the Event Log for each ID that is already present in the system.
  • Log Warning. A warning message will be written to the Event Log for each ID that is already present in the system.

The following actions are available on the File Criteria Page.
