Select Data Source Page

The first page of the Import Wizard provides a list of all import types that are available in the system. The left pane on the dialog provides a tree view of the import types. Import types are organized by Module. Press the expand (+) button for a module to see the types that are available for the module. For example, for Meter Data there are IDR standard formats for importing data into the Meter List, for importing meter data and for importing validation and filling parameters. There are also nonstandard formats available, such as the MSCONS meter data format and the VAT meter data format. Once a data type is selected, the user has the following options:

• File Format. This will open a window that displays the expected file format for the selected import type.
• File Name. This is the name of the file to be imported.
• Browse. This button (...) is to the right of the file name and allows the user to browse for the import file and location. This button will open a dialog allowing the user to select an Excel Workbook or a CSV file.
• Next. This will open the next page (File Criteria Page) of the Import Wizard. This button is active when an import type and file path have been selected.
• Finish. This will execute the import using default options for the remaining pages of the Import Wizard. This button is active when an import type and file path have been selected.
• Cancel. This will cancel the import and close the Import Wizard dialog.
