General Tab

The General Tab for the Forecast Monitor Configuration View displays the required settings for the Forecast Monitor List.

The Common Settings on the Forecast Monitor List General Tab are:

  • Zone ID. This is the text identifier for each forecast item in Forecast Monitor. It is the text field that is displayed in the Forecast Monitor.
  • Description. This is the text associated with the Zone ID that fully describes the Zone.
  • Export ID. This is the text that will identify records for a Zone in an export file or export table.
  • UOM. The unit of measurement.
  • Data Node. The historical data source for the Zone.
  • Decimals. The number of decimal places to display in Forecast Monitor.
  • Display Order. Determines the order the Zone IDs will appear in the Forecast Monitor.
  • Load Type. This defines the type of load for the Zone IDs.
  • LC Fcst Node. An optional XDriver that controls when the InLoadControl flag is toggled. Any forecast validation for the Zone will not be triggered when the XDriver has a non-zero value.
  • Weather. The weather station or weather zone associated with Zone ID.
  • Include in Export. If this box is marked, the Zone forecast will be included in the forecast export.
  • Export Weather. If this box is marked, the weather data associated with the Zone will be included in the forecast export.
  • Read Only. If this box is marked, the Zone forecast is not editable in Forecast Monitor.
  • In Parent Calibration. If this box is marked, the Zone forecast will be calibrated when the parent Zone forecast has been modified. This only applies to Zones that are contributors to other Zones in Forecast Monitor.
  • Can Set In Load Control. If this box is marked, the user can set the In Load Control flag for the Zone. If this box is not marked, the user cannot set the In Load Control flag for the Zone.
  • Can Set In Load Event. If this box is marked, the user can set the In Load Event flag for the Zone. If this box is not marked, the user cannot set the In Load Event flag for the Zone.
