General Tab
The General Tab of the Meter Properties displays the required settings for meters as well as summary statistics for the selected meter.
Common Settings
The Common Settings on the Meter List General Tab are:
- Meter ID. Meter name used as the identifier for the meter.
- Description. Meter description.
- Import ID. Unique character string used to find the meter data in an import file.
- MPI. Minutes per interval (5, 10, 15, 30, 60, Daily).
- UOM. Units of measurement (e.g., kWh, KW).
- Import MPI. Minutes per interval (e.g., 15 or 60) for data in an import file.
- Import UOM. Units of measurement (e.g., kWh or KW) for data in an import file.
- Decimals. The number of decimal places for rounding.
- Loss Factor. The Loss Factor for the meter.
- ADU. Average daily energy use.
- Compute ADU checkbox. When this flag is checked, the Average daily energy use is computed.
- In Load Event checkbox. When this flag is checked, data imported for the meter will be marked as Load Event.
- In Load Control checkbox. When this flag is checked, data imported for the meter will be marked as Load Control.
- Contract Start. Contract Start date for the meter.
- Contract Stop. Contract End date for the meter.
- Time Zone. The time zone of the selected meter. This is an optional field that is currently only used in computing long-term peaks.
Meter Program. The Meter Program for the selected meter. This field is only enabled for systems with Channels enabled, i.e. the ChannelsEnabled System Setting is True.
Statistics
The Statistics on the Meter Properties General Tab are:
- Total, Maximum, Minimum, Average. The total, maximum, minimum and average load.
- Load Factor. The ratio of the average load to the peak load.
- Weekend Ratio. The ratio of average daily energy usage (ADU) on weekend days to the ADU on weekdays.
- Day Fraction. The fraction of energy use that occurs during daytime hours defined as 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Days of Data. The number of days containing data over the interval.
- Data % Comp. The percentage of the interval that contains data.
- HLH Energy. The sum of the energy during high-load hours, defined as 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
- LLH Energy. The sum of the energy during low-load hours, defined as 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. – 12 p.m. Monday through Saturday and all hours on Sunday.
- Data Last Updated. The date/time that data for the item was last changed. This is used by the forecast performance object to determine which downstream objects need to be updated.
- Data Config Updated. The date/time that the configuration for the meter was last changed. This is used by the forecast performance object to determine which downstream objects need to be updated.
