Network Tools

Network Tools are commands that allow you to view and manage network-related details for Itron's multi-mode capable devices operating in network mode. For more information about network mode, see Understand mobile mode and network mode.

Network Tools is a sub-menu and available in the Task Menu of ERTs, meters, and modules operating in network mode. Some commands are relevant (and available) to only those devices operating on a GenX network, while other commands are relevant (and available) to only those devices operating on an OpenWay Riva Network. Network Tools commands, like all Field Tools commands, display only when your mobile user permissions allow for their use.
