LwM2M Enable and Disable

Lightweight Machine to Machine (LwM2M) is a highly efficient, secure communication protocol available to Cellular 500G and 500W Modules. By default, the feature is disabled to save battery life. Utilities should only enable LwM2M when Itron instructs them to, which will happen only if Itron wants to allow the cellular carrier to independently update the cellular modem. This is rare, because these updates are normally handled through an upstream Itron system.

The instructions provided by Itron will describe when you should disable LwM2M after the modem firmware updates are complete.
