Connection Check

If a device's network performance is marginal, use this feature to turn on enhanced network scanning.

Enable Better Parent Scan

Enables searching for a better parent if the connection with the current parent is not acceptable based on the following criteria:

  • Low message success rate

  • Frequent battery access point (BAP) reboots

  • High load on the BAP

  • The BAP is experiencing high latency

Note: BAP or any device that is behaving as a proxy for the BAP.

Disable Better Parent Scan

Disables enhanced network scanning and returns the device to its default behavior, which is to only scan if its connection with its parent is lost.
