Check Firmware Versions

Query the ERT, meter, or module about its current firmware and view the results on your mobile device. Check Firmware Versions retrieves and displays the current firmware versions for:

Register fixed firmware
Register firmware
Cellular modem firmware (for Itron cellular modules only)
Encoder firmware (for encoded registers only)

The only supported hardware configuration for performing Check Firmware Versions is with a Windows mobile device (that meets Field Tools minimum requirements) that is paired to the IMR using a USB connection. For more information, see Minimum requirements.

Checking firmware versions prompts you for inputs. The inputs vary by device. Expand the device type you're working with for its input details. For descriptions of the results, see Result and success fields.
