Arbitrary Commands

The Arbitrary Commands feature is used for troubleshooting. If Itron customer support determines that additional information or processing is needed to solve an issue with a device, they provide a script. After loading it to your computer, use this feature to run the script.

Field	Description
Endpoint ID	Type or scan the ID number of the device you are working with. This number is assigned to each device at the time of manufacture. It uniquely distinguishes the device from all others.
Enter file path	Use the Browse button to locate the Itron-provided script, then click Proceed.
