Configuration Settings 

Setting

Description

Time Zone

The Universal Coordinated Time (UTC) offset, in minutes.

Valve PIN

Four-digit code that is required to be manually entered before the endpoint's valve control state can be changed from Disconnected to Ready for Reconnection.

Delayed Response check box

If selected, the meter applications send delayed responses when an immediate response to an action command is not available.

Start of Conventional Gas Day

The time each day, in local time, that the endpoint takes a self read.

 

Daylight Saving

Description

Enabled

Whether the endpoint is scheduled for Daylight Saving:

  • Select the check box to enable the endpoint to adjust its clocks for Daylight Saving Time (DST) during the DST window.
  • Clear the check box to program the endpoint to ignore all DST parameters and never adjust its time for DST.

Begin

The day and time, in local time, that the endpoint is scheduled to adjust its clock to DST.

End

The day and time, in local time, that the endpoint is scheduled to end its DST clock adjustment.

 

Frame Counter Threshold/Reconnect Window

Description

Opening Command Duration Validity

How long, in hours, the Valve Control State remains at Ready To Connect and manually pushing the meter's connection button connects the gas flow.

Broadcast Frame Counter Threshold-High

The maximum number of messages of the broadcast client for messages sent from the HES to the endpoint.

Broadcast Frame Counter Threshold-Low

The minimum number of messages of the broadcast client for messages sent from the HES to the endpoint.

Gateway Frame Counter Threshold-High

The maximum frame counter value of the Broadcasting client for messages in the downlink direction.

Gateway Frame Counter Threshold-Low

The minimum frame counter value of the Broadcasting client for messages in the downlink direction.

Global Frame Counter Threshold-High

The maximum offset used to manage the sliding window used during the frame counter validation process.

Global Frame Counter Threshold-Low

The minimum offset used to manage the sliding window used during the frame counter validation process.

 

Push Schedules

Setting

Description

Push Schedule 1

The scheduled recurring date and time that the endpoint transmits daily gas time data to the head-end system (HES).

Push Schedule 2

The scheduled recurring date and time that the endpoint transmits end of billing data to the HES.

Push Schedule 3 / 4

A general purpose push configured for any purpose as defined by the utility.
