Adjusting the Meter's Calibration

If the flow test results indicate a need to adjust the meter's calibration, you can do so using FDM. Each meter has a unique Unlock ID. Itron creates the Unlock ID during the manufacturing process, and passes along the Unlock IDs to your utility using a password protected file. When the meter is operating in mobile mode with a security state of Ready to Secure, then you must manually enter the meter's Unlock ID to perform the Seal Meter and Adjust Calibration commands.

The Adjust Calibration command unseals the meter as part of the workflow. After you complete the Adjust Calibration workflow, you must use the separate Seal Meter command to re-seal the meter. The Adjust Calibration command requires Calibration permissions.
