Allow Cross Domain Impersonation

Enables the use of user impersonation when requesting a Signed Authorization token across different domains.

Check this box if your Signed Authorization server is in a different domain from your FDM Client computer.

Allow HDLC Connection

Leave this item unchecked. HDLC connections are not supported by any OpenWay Riva devices.

Allow IP Port Selection

Leave this item unchecked. All OpenWay Riva devices use the default TCP/IP port.

Allow Signed Authorization Server Override

Allows the FDM Client user to change the address when requesting a Signed Authorization token.

Check this box only if your environment has multiple instances of OpenWay Collection Manager (OWCM).

Allow TCP Connection

Allows the FDM Client user to log on to a device using a TCP connection.

Ensure that this box remains checked. TCP is the recommended connection method for OpenWay Riva devices.

Allow UDP Connection

Leave this item unchecked. UDP is not recommended for use with OpenWay Riva devices.

Allow Wi-Fi Connection

Allows the FDM Client user to log on to a device over a Hosted Wi-Fi connection.

Ensure that this box remains checked. Wi-Fi is required for most OpenWay Riva devices.

Enables the use of the Hosted Wi-Fi Windows Service to start the Hosted Wi-Fi connection.

Check this box only if all FDM Client computers have the Hosted Wi-Fi Windows Service installed.

Use Signed Authorization/Secure Logon

Enables the use of Signed Authorization for all devices that support it.

Do not change. All OpenWay Riva devices use Signed Authorization.
