Resetting a User’s Password

Note: You can only reset the password of a user account if you have Modify Server Users or Modify Mobile Users permission in all of the user’s business units

  1. In the navigation pane, select User Identities.
  2. In the contents pane, right-click the user whose password you want to reset and select Reset Password.

    Note: The Reset Password command is available only if FDM’s user store management feature is enabled.

    The system displays the Reset Password dialog box.

  3. Type the new password in the Password and Confirm Password boxes.

    If the user’s account has been locked, select Unlock Account? to unlock it.

  4. Then click OK.
