Enter/Exit Test Mode

Test mode provides temporary memory allocation for performing tests on the meter. The energies and demands accumulated during test mode are cleared upon return to normal mode. Billing register data is not affected by activities performed while in test mode.

When entering test mode, a dialog box presents configuration items. Select quantities that correlate with the tests you want to perform.

Note:You can select a Time in Test Mode up to 90 minutes. Be sure to select a value to remain in test mode that is higher than the selected demand interval to ensure that you can complete testing and data collection before exiting test mode.

When complete, you can either wait for the Time in Test Mode (minutes) to elapse, or you can select the Enter/Exit Test Mode feature again. The dialog box displays how many seconds remain. Click Yes to return to normal mode or No to remain in test mode for the number of seconds shown.

Canadian sealed meters do not allow the following fields to be modified. Their values are set in the configuration file.
