Server Host Name |
The name or Internet address of the FDM server, as specified during installation of the mobile application |

Server Port |
The FDM communication server TCP port number through which the mobile device communicates with the FDM server, as specified during installation of the mobile application. |

Log Level |
The level of detail written in the log file, which the mobile application uses to record errors and other system messages. This information is intended primarily for use in troubleshooting by Itron support personnel. Caution: Do not modify this setting, except in consultation with Itron technical support personnel. |

Inactivity Timeout Minutes (IMR only) |
On the handheld, the number of minutes of inactivity after which the mobile application automatically locks itself if it has not already suspended operation. Leave this field set to 0 (zero), its default value, if you do not want the application to automatically lock. Caution: This setting may pose a security risk. See Locking FDM (handheld) and Turning the handheld on and off |

The FDM server domain as specified during installation of the mobile application |

Save Endpoint ID |
Yes configures the mobile application to automatically fill in endpoint ID fields in workflows with the last endpoint ID entered. No disables the automatic population of endpoint ID fields. |

Max Number of Backups Stored on Device |
Specifies how many backups of completed orders the application keeps, in case the orders become corrupt after being sent to the server and must be sent again. |

Check Endpoint Type Enabled |
Yes. Enables FDM to check which communication protocol in which the endpoint is operating. No. Disables FDM from checking which communication protocol in which the endpoint is operating |

Radio Mode |
The radio mode that the mobile device is operating in:

ISM Configuration |
Yes. Enables FDM to communicate with Itron Security Manager. No. Disables FDM from communicating with Itron Security Manager. |

Itron Mobile Radio (IMR) |
The serial/COM port assigned to the IMR by the laptop's Bluetooth software. 0 (default) disables the mobile application’s 900 MHz functionality. |

Optical Probe Port |
The port on the handheld or PC that the optical probe is connected to. On the handheld, this should always be 4. On the PC, enter the port number assigned to the probe by the system, as indicated in the Windows device manager. 0 (default) disables the mobile application’s OpenWay optical probe functionality. |

Zigbee Dongle Port |
The COM port assigned to the Zigbee dongle by the handheld's or laptop's USB port. 0 (default) disables the mobile application’s Zigbee dongle functionality. |

Scanner Enabled |
No (default) indicates the mobile application is not configured for use with an external bar code scanner. Yes indicates that the mobile application is configured for use with an external bar code scanner. Note: This setting must be set to No if you are using the internal scanner on an IMR handheld or on an FZ-G1 tablet computer. |

Scanner Port |
The COM port (1–50) assigned to the external scanner by the Bluetooth software. Set to 0 if the FDM software is not configured for use with an external scanner. |

Scanner Retry Seconds |
The number of seconds between connection retries if the Bluetooth connection is dropped. Applies only to external scanners configured as Bluetooth devices. |
