Configure Cycle Definition

For an introduction to Cycle Definitions see Manage Cycle Definitions.

Use this function to compare the cycle definition file that is currently on the meter with a new file, and then load the new file to the meter.

Comparing and Configuring Cycle Definitions

1. Open the Configure Cycle Definition window. It is located in the menu structure at Device Control Panel > Configuration Management.

   The system logs onto the meter and then displays the cycle definition that is currently configured in the meter.

2. Click the File Name drop-down and select the file you want to compare with the one that is currently in the meter.

   The page shows where the two files are the same (white background) and where they are different (highlighted).

3. If the new file is the one you want to load onto the meter, click Next.

   FDM configures the meter with the new cycle definition and then displays a success message.
