Setting the handheld’s date, time, and time zone

  1. Perform one of the following:

    • On the handheld screen, tap the Windows Start menu button Windows start menu key to display the Start menu. Select Settings > Control Panel, then double-tap Date/Time.

      or

    • Double-tap the time in the system tray.

    The system opens the Date/Time Properties window.

  2. Use the calendar to select the current date.

  3. Set the current time in the text box following the calendar, using the number keys on the handheld keypad, or the up-arrow and down-arrow in the time text box.

  4. From the Time Zone drop-down list, select the time zone in which the handheld will be used.

  5. Make sure the Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving check box is selected.

  6. Tap Apply.

  7. Tap OK to close the Date/Time Properties window, and then close the Control Panel window.
