Configuring the Panasonic FZ-M1 Tablet's Internal Scanner

 

1. From the tablet's desktop or from the Start > All Programs menu, open the 2D Barcode Key Emulator application.

   

   The Select Target Model window appears.

   

2. If it is not already selected, select 2D Barcode Reader Type A Series.
3. Click OK.

   The Barcode Configuration Utility window appears.

   

4. On the Data Configuration tab, verify that all settings are cleared or disabled.
5. Click the red close button in the top right of the window.

   An exit confirmation window appears.

   

6. Click Yes. The Barcode Configuration Utility closes.
7. On the desktop, right-click the 2D Barcode Key Emulator icon.

   

8. Select Connection to Barcode (Always-On).
9. Open and log in to the FDM mobile application.
10. Select the Information button > Settings.
11. Select the Scanner tab.
12. Set the Scanner Enabled setting to No.
13. Set the Scanner Port setting to 0 (zero). Note: Do not set the Scanner Retry Seconds setting. This setting is not applicable for devices with internal scanners.
