Bar Code Scanner Setup

You can configure FDM to support:

• An external Intermec SF51 bar code scanner on any Bluetooth-enabled laptop, tablet, PC, or IMR handheld.
• An external Intermec SF61B series bar code scanner on any Bluetooth-enabled laptop, tablet, PC, or IMR handheld.
• The internal scanner on any IMR handheld equipped with one.
• The internal scanner on any Panasonic FZ-G1 tablet computer.
• The internal scanner on any Panasonic FZ-M1 tablet computer.
• An external Motorola DS4208 bar code scanner on a laptop computer or PC.

On an IMR, FDM can be configured to use either an external scanner or the handheld’s internal scanner, but you can enable only one of these to work with the handheld at a time. See also Using the IMR’s Internal Scanner.
