Exporting OpenWay COSEM Log Files
This feature packages three log files that are helpful in diagnosing issues.
- \ProgramData\Itron\FDM\Logs\FDM.log
- \ProgramData\Itron\FDM\Workflows\OpenWay COSEM\stunnel\stunnel.log
- \ProgramData\Itron\FDM\Workflows\OpenWay COSEM\DLMSLog.txt
The three files are packaged into a zip file to send to Itron Support to assist in troubleshooting problems.
- If you are currently logged into a device, log out. This feature is disabled when logged in.
- Click the Tools buttons and select Export OpenWay COSEM Logs.
- Either:
Choose Export logs to file and then click Finish.
In the Save As dialog, choose a directory location for the file.
The default is FDM Logs.zip. You can substitute a different file name, but not a different extension.
Click Save.
or
Choose Send logs as an email and then click Finish.
- Your email application creates a new email message with the FDM Logs.zip file attached.
