Set SSID
During endpoint configuration, it is necessary to enter a Service Set Identifier (SSID). The SSID identifies one Radio-Frequency Local Area Network (RFLAN) from another so that devices can connect to a specific network. If a device attempts to join a network and the SSID determined during its configuration does not match, the device is not permitted to join the network.
The SSID is configured in your device configuration by a system administrator. Before submitting the SSID, the SSID number must be obtained from Itron and must be in decimal form. To obtain the SSID, call (864)-718-6876.
See the FDM Server Client Guide for more information.
