100G DLS Check Endpoint Response Fields

Response Field

Description

Endpoint Id

The ERT module’s device identification number.

Endpoint Reading

The meter reading as reported by the endpoint.

Note: A No Read result is returned from an Endpoint reading if a cut cable tamper is discovered.

If the endpoint reading value is underlined, you must click the value to format the read. For more information, see Formatting Gas and Electric Endpoint Readings

Endpoint Type

The endpoint model (100G).

Endpoint Subtype

The endpoint sub-model (100G DLS).

Meter Config

The meter’s number of dials and unit of measure.

PCOMP

The pressure compensation value programmed into the endpoint to compensate for the effect of atmospheric pressure on recorded consumption.

Bubble Up

How often the ERT module automatically transmits, or bubbles up, its standard consumption message (SCM), standard consumption message plus (SCM+), and/or network interval message (NIM).

This value corresponds to the communication mode the module is configured for, as follows:

  • 9 second(s). Mobile/handheld (M/HH) mode
  • 15 second(s). Handheld (HH) mode
  • 30 second(s). Hard-to-read (H2R) mode
  • 1 minute(s). High-power (HP) mode
  • 5 minute(s). Fixed Network (FN) mode
  • 10 minute(s). ERT-GTWY mode.

RF Output Power

The power level in dBm units at which the endpoint transmits.

This value corresponds to the communication mode the module is configured for, as follows: (+10 dBm, +24 dBm, or +27 dBm).

  • +10 dBm. Mobile/handheld (M/HH) mode
  • +24 dBm. High-power (HP), hard-to-read (H2R), Fixed Network (FN) modes
  • +27 dBm. High-power (HP), Fixed Network (FN) modes
  • +27 dBm. ERT-GTWY mode

Utility ID

The utility ID number assigned to your utility by Itron. This is a unique security code ranging from 0 to 32767 that prevents another utility from performing certain functions on an ERT module. If you enter a number greater than 32767, an error displays and you cannot save the utility ID.

Time Drift

The hours, minutes, and seconds fast or slow the ERT or telemetry module's time is, in relation to the actual time.

Lock Level

The ERT module’s lock level, which can be either of the following:

  • No lock. Allows an Itron data collection device with the correct utility ID to reprogram the ERT module.
  • Hard lock. Prevents billing parameters such as consumption, number of dials, drive rate, or pressure compensation (PCOMP) from being reprogrammed. System parameters, such as operation mode (mobile/handheld mode, high-power mobile mode, hard-to-read mobile/handheld mode, or Fixed Network mode), can be reprogrammed.

Security State

The ERT module’s ChoiceConnect security level.

Valid values:

  • Ready to Secure
  • Command Security
  • Full Security

Tilt Tamper

The ERT module’s tilt tamper value, which increments whenever the endpoint has been inverted, vibrated, removed, or tilted 45 or more degrees from its correct installation position. This value does not automatically reset when the module is programmed.

Magnetic Tamper

The ERT module’s magnetic tamper value, which increments whenever the module is exposed to a strong external magnetic field. Exposure to a magnetic field can result in under-reported consumption or even cause the ERT module to stop counting. This value does not automatically reset when the module is programmed.

Note: On 100G remote-mount ERT modules, the cut cable tamper replaces the magnetic tamper.

Cut Cable (remote-mount modules only)

The ERT module’s cut cable tamper value, which increments whenever the module’s cable has been cut or disconnected or has a faulty connection.

Metrology Counter

The number of times the module received a programming command that affected its metrology.

Non Metrology Counter

The number of times the module received a non-metrology programming command.

Battery Status

The state of the endpoint battery’s electrical charge.

  • Good. The battery's charge is at greater than 10 percent of capacity.
  • Low. The battery's charge is at 10 percent or less of capacity.

Battery Counter

A count of the battery energy that has been used to complete endpoint operations since the manufacturing of the device.

Valve Position

N/A

Tamper Debounce

The amount of time in milliseconds required for the mechanical contact on the tilt switch to settle before a signal from the switch is considered to be valid by the ERT module. This parameter is used to adjust the sensitivity of the meter removal tamper indicator.

Packet Type

The standard consumption message packet type the ERT module is configured to transmit.

Valid values:

  • SCM+
  • NIM with SCM+ Contingency

Hop Configuration

Indicates the hop configuration the ERT module uses to randomize the communication channels over which it transmits its bubble-up messages.

Valid values:

  • Hop on 120 channels. The module transmits its bubble-up messages across 120 channels, randomly selected in the range of 903 MHz to 926.8 MHz.
  • Hop on 120 channels offset 50kHz. The module transmits its bubble-up messages across 120 channels, randomly selected in the range of 903.05 MHz to 926.85 MHz.
  • Hop on 50 channels. The module transmits its bubble-up messages across the most reliable 50 channels in the range of 903 MHz to 926.8 MHz, as determined by the Itron Fixed Network system.

Daily Freeze Time

The time each day when a meter reads demand, time-of-use (TOU), and consumption data. The daily freeze time (DFT) meter reading is the reading that is closest to, but not after, the DFT. Also called the gas day take (GDT) time.

This setting applies only to 100G ERT modules configured for use in an Itron Fixed Network.

GDT Rate

The number of seconds between GDT bubble-up packets.

This setting applies only to 100G ERT modules configured for use in an Itron Fixed Network.

GDT Interval

How long, in minutes, the GDT message continues to bubble up after the daily freeze time.

This setting applies only to 100G ERT modules configured for use in an Itron Fixed Network.
