100G DL Module Factory Reset Operation

This appendix provides instructions for using a magnet to complete the Factory Reset operation on a locked 100G DL endpoint. As part of the Factory Reset operation, FDM unlocks the endpoint if it is hard locked. Locked 100G DL endpoints require a magnet application to complete the unlock portion of the Factory Reset operation.

For 100G, 100G DLN, 100G DLS, and 100G DLT modules, the magnet application is not required for any part of the Factory Reset operation.

Important! Always perform the Factory Reset operation in a controlled environment, such as a meter shop, and only after the endpoint module is removed from the meter.
