Working with Endpoints

The FDM Endpoint Tools mobile application is intended for use on:

• IMR handhelds equipped with internal radios.

• Laptop and tablet configured to work with Itron Mobile Radios.

  For 200 series endpoints, FDM Tools mobile application is intended for use on:

  • All Bluetooth devices.

  • A handheld or laptop computer running the FDM mobile application paired with a Water SaveSource Programmer Itron Mobile Radio.

  When you log onto the application, it opens the endpoint selection menu, from which you select the endpoint type or model you want to work with. The endpoint types on this menu are ones that have been configured for use in your business unit: this, your utility company, department, or other organizational unit. When you select an endpoint type, the application displays a menu listing action commands. Each command starts a standard workflow supported by that endpoint type.
