Name

Defines the name of the element. The available values are designated by Itron applications and cannot be utility defined.

Important! If the ApplicationGroups element is included in your MDI file, an ApplicationGroup > Name is required.

Important! If a device is already assigned to an application group and you import a new MDI file to assign it to a new application group, the device will be added to the specified application group in addition to still being in the previously assigned application groups.
