The reading data unit of measure. App Platform supports several common units, including Wh, VARh, VAh, V, and Vh for Electric, and gal, cf, ccf, and cgal for Gas and Water.

Use |
Optional, but required for App Platform. App Platform can accept the incoming data in any unit. However, all collection systems that send data from the same meter must use the same unit. App Platform can convert the incoming unit to a different unit to show in the user interface. This attribute is required for App Platform to process meter readings.
