The following illustration shows the common reading format (CRF) passing data from the OpenWay collection engine to IEE Meter Data Management.

  1. Endpoints send reading data to FCS or Collection Manager.
  2. FCS, Collection Manager, or your CIS exports data to the CRF.

  3. IEE, your billing system, Itron Analytics, or FDM Work Orders imports the reading data.
