OpenWay and IEE

The following illustration shows the common event format (CEF) file passing data from the OpenWay collection engine to IEE Meter Data Management.

1. Endpoints send event data to OpenWay.
2. OpenWay exports event data in the OpenWay format.
3. The IEE DeviceComm service converts the events to the CEF v2.0 format.
4. IEE imports the event data.
