EventDateTime

The EventDateTime element provides the date and time that the event occurred. The time zone or UTC indicator can be included in the timestamp. If no time zone or UTC indicator is present, the receiving application determines how to interpret the timestamp. For example, Itron Analytics requires time stamps to be in UTC. Fixed Network, MV-RS, FCS, and Saturne all send event data in UTC. However, IEE assumes that the time stamp is in the time zone local to the device unless there is a time zone or UTC indicator.
