Common controls

This section provides descriptions of the common controls used throughout these applications. Some or all of the following controls may appear for each outcome.

Left navigation panel

• Dashboard. Opens the dashboard. For more information, see Dashboard.

• Distributed Intelligence. This section contains all of your licensed Distributed Intelligence outcomes.

• Administration. Contains the following links and controls:

  • Settings. Contains the following visibility controls:

    • Theme settings. Select Light for a light background with dark text, or Dark for a dark background with light text.

    • Density settings. Select Default for default spacing, Comfortable for more space between page elements, or Compact for less space between page elements.

• Assistance. Contains the following links and controls:

  • Help. Opens the online help system in a new browser tab.

  • About. Provides Itron contact information

Header controls

These controls are presented at the top of the application in the blue bar. Not all controls are available for all reports.

• Grid (). Click to open the Grid/Map selector.

• Map (). Click to open the Grid/Map selector.

• Back (). Click to return to the Summary or Missing Data dashboard.

• Filters (). Click to open the Filters panel. See Filtering.

• Switch Tenant/Sign Out (). Click to switch the tenant or sign out of portal.itrontotal.com.

• Export (). Click to export a summary of the data shown on the current dashboard to a CSV file.

• Refresh (). Click to refresh the page with any changes you may have made.

Column actions

These controls are presented at the top of reports in the column headers. Not all controls are available for all reports

• Actions (). Hover over a column name and click to access the following actions.

  • Pin Column.

    • No Pin.

    • Pin Left. The column is pinned to the far left position of the table.

    • Pin Right. The column is pinned to the far right position of the table.

  • Autosize This Column. Autosizes the selected column to its contents.

  • Autosize All Columns. Autosizes all columns to their contents.

  • Reset Columns. All columns return to their default settings.

• Filter (). This action is one way to filter a column. You can also select the filter icon under the table label.

  1. Select an option from the menu.

     • Contains. Only returns EVSEs with the entered string.

     • Equals. Only returns EVSEs with the exact entered string.

     • Begins with. Only returns EVSEs beginning with the exact entered string.

  2. Enter a string for the filter.

  3. Select Apply.

• Column selector (). Show or hide columns in the table.

  • Search. Type a string and only columns matching the string will appear in the list.

  • Select a checkbox to show a column in the table.

  • Clear a checkbox to hide a column from the table.

Panel controls

Select the date range and panel options with the following controls.

• Date range selector (). Select to open the calendar and select a range of dates.

  • Click on a date to select the start date.

  • Click on a 2nd date to select the end date.

  • Select the arrow keys to move the calendar forward or backward.

  • Select the month and year menu to select a year.

• Show full page (). Select to expand the box to fill the window.

• Restore card (). Select to return the panel to its original dimensions.

• Collapse (). Select to collapse the panel to only its header.

• Expand (). Select to restore the panel.

• Export (). Select to download the panel to a CSV file.
